The Path Toward Oliveto Lario’s Tourism Strategy
Oliveto Lario is a small gem overlooking the Lecco branch of Lake Como, made up of the villages of Limonta, Vassena, and Onno. An authentic place where nature, culture, and community intertwine in a unique way.
In 2025, the Municipality launched a process to build a tourism development strategy designed to enhance the area and guide it toward a sustainable future.
Everything began with a simple idea: presenting Oliveto Lario as a destination to be experienced slowly, where every activity—from lake to mountains, from culture to food—respects both the environment and the people who live there.
Throughout the year, several steps followed:

the development of a Strategic Tourism Plan

the involvement of local businesses and associations

the creation of a logo and coordinated visual identity

the definition of guidelines for integrated and sustainable tourism development

the launch of a dedicated tourism website
