Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Chiesa della Madonna del Carmine)
Near the road leading to the Town Hall stands the small church dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The simple façade, divided into two parts by a string course, features a gable roof. In the lower section are the square-shaped portal and two small rectangular windows in serizzo stone. The bell tower rises along the northern side of the building.
The date of the church’s foundation is unknown; it is first mentioned in a pastoral visit from the 18th century. The interior has a single nave covered by barrel vaults. Some architectural details, such as the arch of the presbytery and the apse wall, show decorations with neoclassical motifs culminating in the depiction of the Agnus Dei on the vault of the presbytery.
Inside a niche on the back wall stands an 18th-century statue representing Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
